
TiM. BLOCKPIN.
An anti-theft pin that locks your phone screen when the device and the user move apart.
The experience combines a physical pin worn on clothing and a mobile app connected via Bluetooth. When the phone moves more than 10 meters away from the pin, an alarm sounds and the screen locks automatically — preventing unauthorized access and protecting sensitive data.
More than just a functional solution, the Block Pin stands out as an innovation with real impact on people’s lives: a simple, relevant idea that transforms our relationship with our phones in crowded spaces, blending security, convenience, and technology in a seamless way. The campaign racked up 68.5 million impressions during the launch.
My role:
As part of the 20DASH team, I contributed to the TIM Block Pin project — a partnership between BETC HAVAS and TIM. I was responsible for the design and animation of the onboarding tutorial that guided users through the pin configuration process, as well as the animation of the app’s interface using Rive, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Beyond the digital scope, I also supported operational aspects by coordinating the handling and distribution of physical pins, managing the flow between supplier, agency, and client to ensure timely delivery.
To support the launch, I joined on-site testing sessions at BETC's office, assisting in product configuration and delivering live demonstrations — aligning the product experience with strategic expectations.
